First, let\u2019s get down to what YouTube playlists are. YouTube playlists are a list of similar videos grouped together and categorised into multiple lists. Apart from organising videos and helping viewers navigate through your channel, playlists are great with boosting your channel\u2019s views, discoverability and reach. Here\u2019s how you can create a playlist\u00a0 on YouTube studio and add videos to it.<\/span><\/p>\n

Step 1<\/strong><\/p>\n

Click on the top right corner of your YouTube homepage, on your channel icon. Choose \u201cYouTube Studio\u201d from the dropdown menu.<\/span><\/p>\n

Step 2<\/strong><\/p>\n

Select the \u201cvideos\u201d tab from the left menu. You\u2019ll get a list of all the videos on your channel.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Tick the box on the left hand side of any video you want to add to a playlist. You can also select multiple videos to add in a playlist in bulk.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Once you select your videos, more options will pop up towards the top of your \u201cvideos\u201d editing screen. Choose the \u201cadd to playlist\u201d option.<\/span><\/p>\n

The new pop up box shows existing playlists that you have already created. Tick the appropriate playlists you want your video to show on. You can tick multiple playlists if you want your video to appear on more than one playlist.<\/span><\/p>\n

Step 6<\/strong><\/p>\n

If you haven\u2019t already created a playlist, you can add a new playlist. Fill in your playlist\u2019s title description and you\u2019re good to go!<\/span><\/p>\n

Finally, in the \u201cvisibility\u201d box, choose whether you want your playlist to be private, public or unlisted. Public means your playlist is visible to all viewers, private means it\u2019s only visible to you, and unlisted means that only people with the specific link to your video can view it.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
