Wouldn\u2019t it be fun to create joint playlists with your friends? YouTube\u2019s latest feature lets you do just that. You can now add collaborators to your playlist so that you can all curate your favourite videos in a single playlist.<\/span><\/p>\n

Follow these steps to add collaborators to a playlist<\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. Open YouTube Studio.<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Select the \u2018Playlists\u2019 page from the left menu.<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Select the playlist that you want to add collaborators to and click on the \u2018Edit\u2019 button.<\/span><\/li>\n
  4. Under the title, click on the three dots icon indicating \u2018More options\u2019.<\/span><\/li>\n
  5. Click on the \u2018Collaborate\u2019 button.<\/span><\/li>\n
  6. Toggle the slider towards the right for the \u2018<\/span>Collaborators can add videos to this playlist\u2019 option to enable collaboration.<\/span><\/li>\n
  7. Enable the slider for the \u2018Allow new collaborators\u2019 option as well.<\/span><\/li>\n
  8. Copy the playlist link given under these options.<\/span><\/li>\n
  9. Share the playlist links with your friends\/collaborators.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    If you want to disable the collaborations later, you can just disable the \u2018\u2018Allow new collaborators\u2019 option.<\/span><\/p>\n

    How to collaborate on a playlist<\/strong><\/p>\n

    If someone invites you to collaborate on a playlist, you will receive a link to the playlist. To collaborate, follow these steps:<\/span><\/p>\n

    1. Open the given playlist link to open the playlist page.<\/span><\/li>\n
    2. Follow the instructions to confirm your identity as a collaborator.<\/span><\/li>\n
    3. The playlist will now be saved to your YouTube <\/a> Studio as well.<\/span><\/li>\n
    4. Open the video that you want to add to the playlist.<\/span><\/li>\n
    5. On the video page, click the \u2018Save\u2019 button and select the playlist name that you want to add it to.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      When you add a video to a playlist, your YouTube name <\/a> is displayed next to the video\u2019s name on the playlist. The other collaborators also get notified that you\u2019ve added a video. You can also remove the videos that you\u2019ve added. Here\u2019s how:<\/span><\/p>\n

      2. Find the video that you want to remove.<\/span><\/li>\n
