If you get a Content ID claim, it will not affect your Channel adversely.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The consequences of obtaining a Copyright Strike are much severe. Copyright claims can be found using the filter. Hover over <strong>Copyright claim<\/strong> in the <strong>Restrictions<\/strong>\u00a0column and click <strong>SEE DETAILS. <\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Click on <strong>Select Action<\/strong>. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You can choose either one of the following options.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">\n<h6><strong>TRIM<\/strong><\/h6>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You can trim the claimed section of the video. This option allows you to erase only that area of your video without affecting the rest of it. This might happen even if the content is not copyrighted. You can choose to dispute the claim if it\u2019s either a false one.
