With these fresh guidelines, upcoming YouTubers can now make money on YouTube like never before!<\/span><b><\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">\n<h6><strong>What are the new terms?<\/strong><\/h6>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">According to the new terms, creators can apply to join the YouTube Partner Program, if they have:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">500 Subscribers.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">3 long-form public video uploads in the last 90 days.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">3000 public watch hours on long-form videos in the past year,\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As an alternative, creators can also join the YPP if they have 3 Million public Shorts views in the last 90 days instead of 3000 watch hours.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This is a drastic drop from the previous requirements where creators required 1000 subscribers, 4000 watch hours, and 10 Million Shorts views.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">\n<h6><strong>How do these new terms affect Monetization?<\/strong><\/h6>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Previously, being a part of the YouTube Partner Program (YPP), meant access to Watch Page Ads, Shorts Feed Ads, Shopping, and more. This is where creators gain most of their revenue.
