YouTube’s trending section is a place where every YouTuber wants to flaunt their videos. However, this spot is only reserved for the select few videos that can crawl through the clutter and make it to the top. To get on the trending section, your video has to have a high watch time, comply with YouTube guidelines and be relevant to your audience. And here’s how you can make your way to YouTube’s most wanted spot.
1. Ask your subscribers to enable notifications
A surefire way to increase views almost immediately after publishing your video is to notify your subscribers. Tell subscribers to click the bell notification if they want to be notified as soon as you post your next video.
2. Include timely topics
Stay on top of global news and post content that people are talking about. If you’re one of the few first to post content about a topic that’s just started to trend, your video is going to pick up like wildfire.
3. Target videos that are already trending
Look for videos that are already trending on YouTube. Find out what points the video is missing and address these missing areas. You can take the story from a different angle or share your own perspectives. Look in the comments sections to find out what fans to see.
